I have moved to Southport and I'm in second year at college doing my A Levels; Psychology, Sociology and Media. I dropped Business last year and I am the second oldest person in college, and oldest girl. The oldest guy has just turned 20. I feel like a grandma and some people call the "mummy" which is embarassing and draws me to the fact I'm not little anymore lol.
I moved to Southport last October after going to Bury college for a month, I met a small but nice group of friends which is all you need. Why have several loads of people who you aren't that close to when you can have a few good friends.
I have met an ace person called Sahar who is half-Iranian in Southport who has become my big S'port chum who is the best girl for shopping with and chilling we. we have such a laugh on the daftest things like Singstar, although I always lose, knowing full well I don't exactly have the voice of an angel. Then there's her boyfriend Pete who's quite ace too.
Today I have skiived off college cause I'm too lazy to go in for a full day. I was orginally meant to go to Preston with Sas (Sahar) on Thursday so I booked it off work, it was a perfect day cause I had only tutor group and psychology on the Fri but grrr it got changed to tomorrow (Wednesday) which messes up my plans which is not good!
I've not changed dramatically since I blogged properly last, but I've matured and grown up a bit, but I had more random things going on then. I was homeless after being kicked out by my mother. Ended up in some bad places. Like some chav I knew, his flat. Which I shared with 3 other guys and they were just evil and stole and it was bad. I then went onto the M3 project where you stay with a host family but got kicked off that because I just didn't get along too well with the people, the rules in place were too extreme. I lived in a youth hostel which was fun at first apart from when the chavs kicked off, I generally enjoyed myself and being young. I did what I wanted and enjoyed it all. I've done enough partying to last me a lifetime and my poor body suffered too :P. I got kicked out of there cause some guy in the room next to mine was smoking weed and they thought it was me which wasn't good, he was a hardcore weed smoker too so it always looked bad on me. I stayed in a temporary hostel in Accrington after that, across the road from my grandma. I then stayed with a guy I met, through a friend I knew. He was so evil though, when he got annoyed I paid the price. My mother rescued me in the August of 2006, I stayed with her 2 months then moved in with her boyfriend Colin in the October to Ainsdale. We've had big houses in the past and this was no exception. The rooms were all huge, only small thing was the garden. My double bed fit perfectly into the room with loads of space after that. Then my boyfriend at the time Matt helped us all move into the place we are now. A dingy little semi house. It's absolutely tiny, you can walk the lounge in 4 steps, my room is so small you can't move. All I have in it is my double bed, two tiny bedside tables, my computer desk and a big chest of drawers. I can't fit my clothes anywhere and my stuff is still in boxes as it has nowhere to go. Colin and I both hate this house but my mother likes it which annoys me. Hopefully we will be moving soon. Colin is always going on about how we could of had a 4 bedroom detached house in Banks for the same price, but Banks is for inbreds *high 6* so I've been told. Don't know much about Southport as I have only lived in Formby a few times.
Southport is a lot better than Rossendale, Rossendale was a small place with hardly any shops and a shit load of chavs, there was a murder recently of two people by a group of chavs there. Here in Southport we have the cinema, bowling, 3 mcdonalds, shit loads of shops, and not all bad, the only proper shops in Rossendale were high class boutiques which no normal person could afford. There's places to chill here and the people are just as nice. And there's hardly any chavs too. In Rossendale the only thing I miss is the people, I miss my friends as I had more there but it's harder to meet people when you have just moved somewhere, especially at this age. (I'm 20 in 2 months).
I recently got a job in August working for Asda. In George. Seeing all them clothes day in day out blags your head though. I work 29 hours a week which is crazy for a full time student! Met some lovely people through work though, some of them are so ace and now I have a wee bit more of a social life which is good :P not like I stayed in but it's nice to have a variety of different people like I used to in Rossendale. The Liverpool guys are so much more friendly too. So lovely. It's like a whole different place.
Just before I moved over here in Oct, in the August Kate who I still love lots and miss her like crazy went to Pleasureland in Southport. Which has now been closed down and my friend Trickett said they were zoo killers anyway. That was ace and I discovered Southport that little bit more. Plus the fitness of some guys like David who ran a stall in Pleasureland, he was so hot! There is far more hot guys here too, eye candy = no problem!
I'm going to meet Sas outside her college as she's moved colleges :( it's not the same without her and we're going to chill until work cause she's annoyed I'm not too keen on going Preston tomorrow when I've sorted it all out for Thursday and have to cancel on a trippet out with someone else.
Well that's my catch up, and as I now have the Internet which I survived for so long without I will update this blog quite regularly because I used to be an ace blogger in my own eyes. I may be extremely disillusioned though.
xXx
p.s. For anyone who doesn't know what I look like now
